Littlewoods is celebrating its 80th year of trading with a celebrity photoshoot depicting Coleen Rooney recreating some of the catalogues iconic covers over the period.
Photographer Terry O’Neil has raided Littlewood’s back catalogue to bring to life some forgotten gems from as far back as the 30s, making them relevant for today’s audience with the help of Rooney.
Founded in 1932 the catalogue initially offered hand painted images of consumer goods and has included some big name stars from Jerry Hall to Joan Collins on its cover.
Commenting on the campaign Rooney said: “It’s been fantastic recreating the covers of past Littlewoods catalogues. There have been so many changes, the outfits have been great and the looks have been so different from each other, I’ve had to be so many different characters! Working with Terry O'Neill was such an amazing experience, he's a fashion legend who has photographed some of the biggest style icons in history, so to be photographed by him was a real honour.”
