Plinkfizz, the marketing and communications company, has announced that it has acquired the PR firm Howle Communications, appointing its founder Nigel Howle as director of public relations.

Plinkflizz offers a range of communications services including marketing, graphic design, web development and PR to clients including Steelite International, Emma Bridgewater, Stoke on Trent College and CoRE, the national Centre of Refurbishment Excellence.

Fiona Hawkins, Managing Director, of Plinkfizz, said: "Nigel is well respected and I am certain that his experience gained in a 30 year career in journalism and PR will be a considerable asset to Plinkfizz.

"We have worked in collaboration with Nigel for the past year or so and the time is right to put the relationship on a formal footing."

Howle said: "This is a great opportunity for me and I'm excited about the challenges ahead.

"Alongside the chance to work with Plinkfizz's clients, the changes will enable me to offer a greater range of services to my longstanding customers."
