Nationwide set to launch new creative for On Your Side campaign with 18 Feet & Rising

Nationwide is set to launch a new advert on 2 July for its One Your Side campaign, focusing on its newly launched SavingsWatch service, which highlights rate changes and new products.

The ad follows a couple who enter a magical world through a book they find on the street, and end up travelling on a carousel and finding themselves mysteriously in a world in which they are uncomfortable and disorientated, before they are saved by Nationwide guiding them to safety.

Created and produced by 18 Feet & Rising, the ads use CGI technology and build on the ‘On Your Side’ strapline from last year.

Andy McQueen, Nationwide’s marketing director, said: “We know it is not always easy navigating through the financial maze that is why we are working hard to make sure we find ways to make it easier for consumers to find the best deals for them as easily as possibly. Last year we launched our brand strap line ‘On Your Side’ with a high profile ad campaign and the carousel concept.

“And, since then we have been focused on demonstrating how we are on our customers side whether that is by highlighting the best rates to them or making getting a mortgage offer as quick and easy as possible. We are now building on this campaign activity with our new ad to keep our brand fresh in the consumer’s mind. The creative retains a similar look and feel to the ads launched last year and the carousel image has remained as part of the creative.”
