The Week named consumer magazine of the year at PPA Awards
Dennis Publishing title The Week was named consumer magazine of the year at last night's PPA Awards.
Stylist's Lisa Smosarski won editor of the year in the consumer media category while Emma Penny of Farmers Guardian was crowned editor of the year for business media.
Sport magazine's stripped-back cover featuring former England footballer Paul Gascoigne was awarded Cover of the Year, a new category determined by a public vote.
Barry McIlheney, CEO of the PPA, said: "Front Cover of the Year has been a fantastic addition to the awards, demonstrating just how powerfully a well-crafted magazine cover can resonate with readers."
