Mike Welsh is named CEO of Publicis Chemistry
Publicis Group UK has named Mike Welsh as the new chief executive of advertising agency Publicis Chemistry.
Welsh joined the group in 2008 as chief executive of its direct marketing agency Publicis Dialog, which was merged with Chemistry Communications to form Publicis Chemistry.
Welsh's appointment coincides with the departure of managing director Jason Foo, who has "resigned to consider new opportunities".
Nigel Jones, Publicis Group UK chairman and CEO, said: “Mike is one of the most experienced managers in the business and is the perfect leader to take Publicis Chemistry into the next phase of its history.”
