Tefal has announced a partnership with Dhruv Baker, 2010 Masterchef winner, to launch a selection of its electrical cooking products.

His first public appearance as brand ambassador will be at the BBC Good Food Show on 16 June, promoting Tefal ActiFry, followed by hosting an interactive cookery workshop at a summer press event in July.

The brand already worked with Dhruv at the January launch of the Tefal Fresh Express.

Baker said: “Working with Tefal in January set the scene for a successful partnership, launching the Tefal Fresh Express at The Folly in London. I very much enjoyed being part of the team. And through using the wide range of Tefal products to create my recipes, I’ll be looking to highlight the versatility of devices such as Tefal ActiFry and Tefal Roast & Bake, as well as uncovering a whole host of new methods to creating great tasting food.”

Vincent Berry, marketing director for Groupe SEB UK, said: “Dhruv cooks with true passion for food, is innovative with his dishes but understands that cooking is more enjoyable when it’s easy. At Tefal we design clever products for people’s kitchens to make cooking simple and rewarding. Inviting Dhruv to invent mouth watering recipes, using Tefal’s quality range of electrical kitchen products, means that we can help our customers get even more pleasure from their Tefal range, as well as giving them some food for thought around products launching later in the year.”
