Digital agency Hedgehog Lab’s new business partner Krishna Pediredla is head up the new office in Hyderabad, India.

The Newcastle agency, which claims to have increased its turnover by 300% in the last financial year, plans to expand beyond the UK, following the decision by founder Sarat Pediredla to encourage growth by reaching out to markets that are under served by mobile development agencies.

Pediredla said: “There is an explosive mobile market in India which isn’t being tapped into yet, so for me, it seemed an obvious next step to look to the Indian market considering it is one I know so well.

“The Far East holds masses of opportunity and we want to capitalise on this by having hedgehog lab present in major global areas – the UK, India and ultimately USA providing a 24-hour cycle of work so clients get the very best level of service.

“Our larger clients, who are global brands, are increasingly interested in dealing with global agencies and we are ramping up our capacity to serve their post-PC needs around the world.”

With its headquarters in Hoults Yard, Newscastle, Hedgehog Lab also has an office in London.
