Hello Fresh to become one of first to trial Facebook’s ‘offers’ application

Grocery delivery company Hello Fresh has announced that it has become one of the first to trial Facebook’s new “Offers” application in the UK.

Following the soft-launch of the app at the end of February, Facebook is looking to expand its use by online retailers, with the system allowing customers to opt-in to the brands they receive offers from, and the offers appearing in the newsfeed.

Pit Karbe, managing director of Hello Fresh, said: "As a young, growing business, Offers provides us with a great, cost-effective way to reach new customers interested in our service – leveraging a potential customers’ social network has been much more effective than other mass-distribution models."
