Marquese Scott, Dubstep star and YouTube star, has devised a new dance routine to plug the Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner.

iRobot Corporation, manufacturers of the device, have hired Scott to make his moves on the TV and online campaign, which Boston based ad firm Mullen state is designed to celebrate “the unique bond that exists between people and robots”.

That bond sees Scott dance like a robot around his house whilst the real thing goes about its business around his feet, proving to be a hit on YouTube where a ‘Robolution’ branded channel has been created to promote robot dance offs.

This takes the form of a competition where contestants can submit videos of themselves dancing along to the iRobot tune
