Rakuten LinkShare appoints Liane Dietrich as chief operating officer

Rakuten LinkShare has today announced the promotion of Liane Dietrich to chief operating officer, covering both UK and US operations.

Former Rakuten LinkShare chief commercial officer Mark Haviland will take on Dietrich’s old role of Rakuten LinkShare MD in the UK.

Yaz Iida, president and CEO at Rakuten LinkShare Corporation, said: “The international boundaries between brands and their affiliate programs have become increasingly blurred. As Rakuten LinkShare continues to expand the reach of its affiliate network to new markets, and as advertiser e-commerce capabilities become more advanced globally, we believe there is a huge opportunity to create profitable affiliate partnerships around the world.”

Dietrich said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for the business as we expand our operations and offer increasingly joined-up services to our customers globally. With the best part of a decade driving audience growth for CNN across EMEA, Mark combines affiliate knowledge with audience expertise and is perfectly positioned to head up our UK arm.”
