The results of the RAR Awards for best client ratings were announced last night in London.

RAR collects ratings from clients about the agencies’ skills and their service levels. Once a year, a snapshot of member agencies’ ratings are downloaded to find the best rated agencies. In each category there are up to 10 finalists and one winner.

The awards are split by agency size and the two Grand Prix winners were IAS B2B Marketing (over 30 staff) and Vibe (up to 30 staff).

The Grand Prix is awarded on a points system based on the number of finalist places gained and the number of category wins. This is the third year that IAS B2B Marketing has won the overall award, this year being seven points clear of the next best-performing agency, The Gate.

In the up to 30 staff, Vibe won the Grand Prix for the first time, beating off competition from second placed agency Carpe Diem.

Other larger agencies that did well this year include Bray Leino, Delineo, Multiply and The Workshop.

For smaller agencies NSDesign, Ahoy and Cole Advertising all performed well.

The advertising titles were taken by BJL and Madhouse with the design prizes going to WRG and Hemisphere.

The event company Aspect came top for events, and Bray Leino won the events category for bigger companies for its event work with clients such as Castrol and Office for National Statistics.

London-based Circle Research won the Market Research category in its first year being part of the awards and Blueberry Wave was also successful in its first year, taking the top spot for CRM.

MediaedgeCIA won the media buying category and Basingstoke’s Purple Agency won Corporate Communications.
