The Drum’s charity website competition, organised in partnership with web design and development company Mercurytide, has seen 155 charities nominated so far, with around 370 nominations – with just a few days left to nominate.

The competition will bring one lucky charity a new website worth £10,000, as well as all the digital assistance and advice needed to help bring its brand alive online.

Nominations so far have included Freedom Charity, which was established to save the lives of vulnerable children and young people at risk of or subjected to violent crime and forced marriages throughout the UK.

Akosia, a charity committed to transforming education, was also nominated. The reason given for Akosia’s nomination was: “Their current website is functional yet they want to enhance it and turn it into a resourceful tool for present volunteers and an inspiring media centre for potential volunteers, and beyond.”

Alice’s Escapes, Animal Samaritans, The Black Country Food Bank, Includem, Men Matter, Odysseus Foundation, Scottish Emergency Rider Volunteer Service and Wobbly Williams are also among those nominated.

Nominations will close this Friday, 6th April. To put forward a charity for the prize of a new website, nominate here.
