Baskin-Robbins appoints Nexus/H as its creative agency

Ice cream brand Baskin-Robbins has appointed Nexus/H as its creative agency for the UK.

Giorgio Benza, marketing manager for Europe at Baskin-Robbins, said: “Marketing campaign activity will be very event and theme-orientated, reflecting our brand’s personality and connection with pop culture.

“Most importantly, it will be delivered on both a personal and local level to help build the neighbourhood presence of each Baskin-Robbins shop in support of our current and future franchisees as we seek to expand our market presence in the UK.”

Abigail Holden, senior account director atNexus/H, said: “Baskin-Robbins is an extremely fun and social brand, renowned globally for its innovative flavour combinations and variety of frozen treats. We’re excited to have the opportunity to enhance the company’s recognition and interest among consumers, and engage new guests in an effort to increase store footfall and drive additional sales.”

The agency’s first campaign for the brand is expected to launch next month, and will develop across key media during the year.
