Bray Leino has appointed former DLKW creative director Ken Sara as senior art director.

Sara started his career at Grey Advertising in London in 1986 and was creative group head at McCann Erickson between 1996 and 1997.

He held the creative director post at DLKW for six years, working on accounts such as Ebay, Burger King and Capital Radio, before going freelance in July 2009.

Sara, who started in the role this week, said: “After 25 years in the industry in London this presents a great new challenge for me, and I’m hoping to make a real difference."

Jon Elsom, Bray Leino's executive creative director, added: "In my career I have not come across a creative with greater clarity of thought, and he has a corresponding track-record of big, fat, cut-through ideas that shift product and win awards.

"Our aim here is to turn industry heads.”
