Pottermore appoints Momentum UK for marketing

Pottermore has appointed Momentum UK to define and develop its overall marketing strategy.

Momentum replaces Adam & Eve on the JK Rowling project, and will be responsible for as cultivating ongoing engagement via integrated activity, including digital and social.

Simon Parker, managing partner for Momentum UK, said: “This is such an exciting project for Momentum to be involved in. Harry Potter is one of the great cultural touchpoints and we are thrilled Pottermore have asked us to help encourage a new generation to discover this world and to give fans more of what they love. Who wouldn’t be excited about that?”

Charlie Redmayne, CEO at Pottermore, added: “Adam & Eve contributed a huge amount to this project and I am very grateful to them – moving forward Momentum will bring a wealth of experience in integrating social and digital into broader media and also the ability to service our international requirements.
