Rebekah Brooks released on bail
Rebekah Brooks and her husband, Charlie Brooks, are amongst three other suspects arrested in the ongoing phone hacking inquiry to be released on bail.
Scotland Yard confirmed that five of the half dozen individuals arrested yesterday have regained their liberty until next month, whilst a six person remains in custody.
The couple are amongst the most high profile figures to be arrested thus far with Brooks formerly acting as editor of News of the World and her husband, Charlie, a close friend of the Prime Minister.
Both were held on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
