Keogh’s, makers of hand-cooked Irish potato crisps, has unveiled its Shamrock and Sour Cream variety ahead of St Patrick’s Day next Saturday.

The packaging for the crisps was designed by London based Leahy Brand Design, with the crisps to go on shelf in Ireland this week, as well as being for sale on Facebook, for a limited period, sold in 125g bags.

Tim Leahy, managing director of Leahy Brand Design, said: “We wanted to bring the story of the Keogh family to life and communicate their passion about their produce. To do this, we featured a photograph of the Keogh’s family on their farm to bring their personality upfront and developed the strapline; ‘Keogh’s - Grown with love in Ireland’ to focus the provenance of the produce and the passion for their craft.”

Tom Keogh added: “The limited edition Shamrock and Sour Cream variety was born out of our love of uniquely Irish flavours and we simply wanted to put a smile on people’s faces. LBD, our design partners from the outset on this venture, once again worked their magic and have brought a great idea to life.”
