We Are Social continues international expansion strategy with New York office opening
Social media agency We Are Social has continued its expansion strategy, this time opening an office in New York to service its client roster, which includes brands such as adidas and De Beers.
The New York office will be led by managing director Leila Thabet (pictured), one of the first senior members of the agency’s London headquarters, who joined in 2009. She left to joined Isobar, but returned to We are Social late last year.
This is the eighth office opened by the agency, which also has offices in Paris, Milan, Munich, Sydney São Paulo and Singapore, employing 160 staff in total.
Robin Grant, global managing director at We Are Social, said: “The opening of We Are Social New York rounds out We Are Social’s global offering. Marketers looking for social media support on a global basis now have access to a proven agency partner they can work with. Leila was a big part of our success in London and she already has begun building a U.S. team to match the record of innovation and excellence of our other offices.”
