Sion Ashley-Jones, the former managing director of Golley Slater Cardiff, has joined The Scott Partnership as director and general manager.

The Cheshire-based b2b PR and marketing consultancy said Ashley-Jones' experience would help towards its mission of growing its brand into a full-service communications agency.

Ashley-Jones was in charge of the advertising division at Golley Slater Cardiff for four years before leaving in August 2011.

He has worked on clients including The Army, Lloyds TSB Insurance, BMW, Mitsubishi Motors, Welsh Rugby Union, NatWest, VW and Konica Minolta.

Kath Darlington, CEO of The Scott Partnership, said: "Sion is a natural choice for our rapidly growing team, his experience of providing full marketing consultancy for a broad range of international clients complements our increasing position as an integrated partner for global clients.

"The Scott Partnership is moving from its niche specialism into becoming a global player, and Sion joins us at a key time to make a positive impact on our future.”
