KFC launching £4m ‘his and her’ campaign to promote BBQ Rancher
KFC has announced that it is to screen ‘his and her’ ads to promote its non-fried BBQ Rancher burger, as the brand aims to appeal to a female demographic.
The £4million marketing campaign, launching this month, will include two TV ads by BBH, as well as outdoor advertising.
Jennelle Tilling, KFC president of marketing for UK and Ireland, said: "The BBQ Rancher provides us with a great opportunity to deliver a product that both men and women will enjoy, delivering a lighter option which still has the great taste that people expect from KFC.
"It's an exciting opportunity for customers to try something new and the BBQ recipe from the Colonel's cookbook provides a unique twist; this isn't just any BBQ sauce, it has a genuine story behind it."
