ScreenHI, Scottish development agency for the screen and broadcast industries, is to implement new film and broadcast strands during this year’s goNORTH festival.

The Festival, which will run over two days in June in Inverness, will aim to showcase the creative industries of Scotland, and will now aim to place greater emphasis on the screen and broadcast industries.

An online radio station, goNORTH, will also launch and will be streamed live, including broadcasting interviews with guest speakers, delegates and clips from gigs and films featuring during the festival.

Dabster Productions will manage and deliver the radio platform, alongside 10 trainees from the Highlands and Islands.

GoNORTH 2012, is the 12th year for the festival and will take place over 6-7 June.
