A spectacular man-made sun shone down on tourists and commuters in central London yesterday as part of Tropicana's new Brighter Mornings campaign.

The installation, created with help from art collective Greyworld, lit up Trafalgar Square from sunrise to sunset.

The 'sun' took six months to build, weighs over 2,500kg and is as bright as 60,000 lightbulbs.
