Bauer Media has restructured its commercial team to create a new 100-strong sales force in which all staff will be responsible for digital sales as well as traditional advertising.

The move means that instead of having a standalone digital sales operation as before, all commercial staff will now be responsible for digital sales for brands including Grazia, Empire, Magic 105.4, Closer and Kiss.

Under the new structure, each advertising team will be responsible for all digital revenue into their respective brands.

As part of the restructure, Bauer has created a 'digital trading hub' which will act as a single point of contact for advertisers to buy space across Bauer's digital brands.

This will be led by Vicki Clubley, acting head of magazine trading, who will work alongside Tom Curry, radio commercial director - trading.

Andrea Kilbourne, digital director, lifestyle and advertising, Bauer Media London, said: “Bauer Media has many exceptionally talented individuals in the team and this move to integrate digital practices into all our sales divisions will develop deeper expertise, continue driving innovation and serve our customers more effectively.

"Digital expertise will sit at the heart of our brand teams and enable us to offer greater creative ideas and solutions across our portfolio of influential brands."
