CIPR launches social media newsroom with PressPage

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations has today announced the launch of a social media newsroom in partnership with PressPage.

This will integrates announcements with CIPR’s Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.

Phil Morgan, CIPR policy and communications director, said: “We are very happy to be using the CIPR's new, integrated newsroom to announce our partnership with PressPage, who are enabling us to make the most of their excellent service. We are looking forward to making the CIPR's announcements and media releases more engaging by being able to include rich digital content and to bring our resources to a wider audience.”

As part of the deal, PressPage is also offering CIPR members a discount.

Bart Verhulst, co-founder and CEO of PressPage, said: “We are delighted to be associated with the UK's leading Public Relations organisation. The CIPR is at the forefront of key developments in the PR profession, especially the work carried out by their social media panel. Hopefully this partnership will contribute in that direction.”
