Confused.com has appointed Publicis London to its £50m advertising business following a pitch against four undisclosed agencies.

The move marks a return to an agency relationship for the price comparison site, which has created its recent 'Cara' campaigns in-house.

Chief marketing officer Mike Hoban said: "The all-singing, all-dancing Cara campaign that we created and produced in house has proved to be a great success for Confused.com since its introduction, and now we are looking forward to Publicis helping us take Confused.com advertising to the next level.

"Having spent some time reviewing approaches from different agencies, we’re delighted to confirm that we’ll be working with Publicis from January this year."
