Man United players enlisted for new telecoms advert
A host of players from the Manchester United squad have been recruited by Pakistani mobile telecoms firm Zong to star in their latest TV commercial.
Shot by Mob Films, the promotion follows a three year partnership deal between MUFC and the telecoms provider, and features four of the teams top players - Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Young, Darren Fletcher and Dimitar Barbatov.
Dean Sinacola, studio manager at The Pie Factory (where the ad was shot) said: “We have a strong working relationship with both Manchester United FC and Mob Films, so it was great that they chose to shoot the Zong commercial within The Pie Factory. It was filmed in the Manchester stage (one of three sound stages within The Pie Factory and the build took just over a week.
