The website for the 3hundredand65 project, a story to be created day-by-day throughout the year by Twitter users, has today gone live.

Each day, a new writer takes over and tweets the next stage in the story, which is then turned into an illustration by Dave Kirkwood, who created the idea for the project.

The project aims to raise awareness and money for The Teenage Cancer Trust, allowing donations as well as the original notebooks filled with drawings to be auctioned off at the end of the year.

Twitter users are invited to get involved by contacting @dave_kirkwood and putting in a request for a date. 365 Twitter users will contribute as part of the project, with the tweeter who posted the first stage also writing the last stage.

The hashtag for the project is #3hand65.
