Dementia charity Alzheimer Scotland has appointed tictoc to revamp the organisation’s website.

The main focus of the website will be to make it easier for people with dementia and their carers to use, whilst also raising awareness and understanding of dementia generally. The new site will aim to present the content in a more user friendly, personalised way.

A content management system will be introduced to the website to allow Alzheimer Scotland staff to be able to keep the site up-to-date in a more efficient manner. The online shop and donation facilities are also expected to be improved as part of the revamp.

Melanie Russell, director of tictoc, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Alzheimer Scotland on this project as our key focus for all of our clients is their goals and conversions, this project offers many challenges on this front and one which we’re greatly inspired by them to achieve. The project will continue to challenge our team and enhance our expertise in all aspects of Third Sector digital strategies.”

Alzheimer Scotland, said: “We very much look forward to working with tictoc on our new website. We want to fully embrace the myriad of online opportunities available in order to better engage with, and provide support to, people affected by dementia across Scotland, so no-one feels that they have to cope with the illness on their own.”
