BID Preston unveils Christmas advert with Raising the Roof Media

BID Preston’s latest Christmas advert has been created by Raising the Roof Media, featuring the strapline ‘Preston – Santa’s Best Kept Secret’.

The 20 second advert sees elves arriving at Preston train station before shopping in key high street stores for all the children on Santa’s ‘nice list’, while Santa and Rudolph sample the restaurants.

Funded by BID Preston, the advert was created to enhance awareness of the City as a driving force in the region and a place to shop, dine, party and experience over Christmas.

Mark Whittle, marketing manager for BID Preston, said: “Producing this advert was a key part of our marketing strategy and with the feedback we have already received feel we have exceeded what we set out to achieve. We have such a wealth of retail and entertainment available to shoppers in Preston and this advert reveals our ‘secret’ that we are keen to share.”

Mark Oulson-Jenkins, head of production for Raising the Roof Media, said: “This advert is a lot of fun and has really captured the festive spirit of the City. We were very lucky to be working with such amendable locations such as Preston train station, St George’s Shopping Centre, Debenhams and Teddy Bear Mountain and I think the advert also reflects how much the cast and crew also enjoyed making it.”
