Betfred will tonight launch its new TV ad starring Helen Chamberlain.

The bookmaker has signed up the Soccer AM host as the face of its 'Goals Galore' bet, where punters win if both teams score.

The ad is the first campaign since Manchester agency BJL picked up the Betfred account in October. The Gate Films handled production.

It will be shown for the first time tonight on Sky Sports News and will run across Sky Sports. For the first time Betfred will also advertise on Dave, Comedy Central, Sky Atlantic, Gold and Channel 5.

BJL's managing director, Nicky Unsworth, said: "The North West media scene is really thriving at the moment, and as a Manchester-based agency ourselves, it's refreshing to be teaming up with a North West headquartered client like Betfred who are targeting growth through national campaigns."
