Volkswagen Fleet Services has announced the appointment of Rob Taylor as marketing manager.

Taylor, who moves over from the position of national communications manager from Volkswagen Group, will take on the role from 16 December, replacing Cheryle Kately who will take a sabbatical.

He will be handed responsibility for overseeing Volkswagen Fleet Services’ marketing activities, including advertising, events and the fleet website.

“I’m delighted to be joining Volkswagen Fleet Services at this time. 2012 will see a number of key new models join the Volkswagen range so it’s an exciting opportunity to be behind the communications of these products,” said Kately.

Head of Volkswagen Fleet Services, Vince Kinner, added: “I am sorry to be losing Cheryle temporarily from the team, but pleased to have Rob joining us. He brings with him a wealth of experience in marketing and Volkswagen Group knowledge, and I look forward to working with him.”
