Vineet Raheja, former senior creative at McCann Erickson Birmingham, has joined Palmer Hargreaves as its new creative director.

Reheja joins after three years at McCann Erickson, having previously worked at other network agencies such as JWT, Ogilvy, Bates and AMV BBDO, as well as Brass.

Raheja said: “It was time for me to step up, and Palmer Hargreaves seemed like the perfect fit. It has some incredibly clever people at the top, and they have great plans for the future.”

Nikki Watts, managing director of Palmer Hargreaves, added: “I am delighted to welcome Vineet to the UK team. Our search was long and complex, we considered candidates from London to New York; in the end we found the right man for the job a little closer to home.

He replaces Holly Pallister as creative director, after she left in the summer to move to London.
