ClearChannel picks up Westfield Regional digital screen contract

The outdoor advertising contract for Westfield Regional has been won by Clear Channel, which will see the company install over 100 digital screens at sites across the UK’s major cities.

The contact was appointed following a tender exercise, with Clear Channel tasked with transforming advertising opportunities ‘from paper to digital’ within Westfield’s Regional mall portfolio, with each mall receiving a bespoke 1080 HD unit to offer advertising.

Bill Giouroukos, director of operations, for Westfield, commented: “We have moved our strategy to all digital and interactive and we are pleased to announce Clear Channel will be handling our regional outdoor advertising portfolio, delivering an enhanced experience for shoppers and advertisers in the mall environment.”

Meanwhile, Clear Channel UK has also seen its contract with Meadowhall extends and will now install new digital screens through out the mall.
