British Land appoints retail PR manager
British Land has appointed Jackie Whitaker as retail PR manager.
Whitaker, who has 12 years commercial property experience, will work with the senior retail team and director of corporate communications to implement a PR strategy which will aim to focus on the successes of the retail team and the quality and appeal of the retail portfolio to local, trade and national media.
Pip Wood, director of corporate communications, said: “Retail accounts for 64% of our portfolio and Jackie will be responsible for continuing to improve understanding of the company’s retail assets and investment initiatives.
“By utilising the significant experience, expertise and knowledge of the retail team and the inherent strengths of the portfolio, we can demonstrate real leadership, innovation and insight.”
