Trusted Dealers hires Acceleris for new campaign

Used car website Trusted Dealers has appointed Acceleris Marketing Communications to run a communications campaign spanning consumer, trade and social media.

As well as delivering traditional and online PR support, the Yorkshire agency has been appointed to run the firm's Scambusters campaign which has been designed to protect motorists from rogue operators and conmen.

Motorists will be able to report suspicious traders through a dedicated webpage and details of any scams will then be passed to the Office of Fair Trading and the Police.

Neil Addley, managing director of Trusted Dealers, said: "Through a carefully structured campaign we hope to promote the benefits of working with our ‘trusted dealers’ and reduce the risks that many car buyers face when dealing with rogue traders and individual private sellers."
