This year’s Christmas campaign for Halfords has been released, with the aim of having parents buy their presents at the store.

The ‘Christmas presents they’ll use again and again’ campaign will be released in installments, the first encouraging parents to buy their children bikes for presents.

Created by DLKW Lowe and directed by Paul Gay of Waspface, the campaign will position the retailers as the place to go for lasting gifts.

The campaign continues to build on the Halfords Easter campaign, and will be broadcast on TV and online ahead of Christmas.

Gerry Murphy, group brand marketing director for Halfords, commented: “Our customers have had it really tough this year and deserve treating their families with gifts that last. We’re committed to helping them this Christmas by stocking quality products – like bikes which we can build, safety check and fit for them – so they can be used all year round, making the most of their hard earned money.”
