Unsigned Band Review and offer unsigned bands chance to win makeover

Unsigned Band Review (UBR) and online fashion retailer, 40% owned by eBay, are offering bands of the future the chance to win a free makeover – and publicity.

Each week the winner of UBR’s ‘Emerging Icons’, a competition designed to find the hottest new bands around, gets re-styled at Secretsales’ studio. Recent Emerging Icons winners include Cellophone Flowers, Anchor and the Wolf, Jessica Sweetman, Erin K and Tash, and Annaca.

The makeover is filmed and sent out to over 70,000 fashion fans on the Secretsales database, along with behind the scenes footage from the day including interviews with band members.

Fashion brand Rimmel is on board as a sponsor. Its logo appears on the videos as well as on the UBR website.
