Celebrated graphic designer Wim Crouwel has designed an anniversary poster for Manchester creative agency Truth Design.

The poster has been commissioned by the agency to celebrate its five years of service, featuring a ‘5’ using a grid layout, with Dutch designer Crouwel the latest renowned designer to be involved in the anniversary celebration.

Crouwel is known for his grid based layouts and typeface creations, including the 1967 designed typeface, New Alphabet’.

Darren Scott creative partner for Truth, commented: “Wim Crouwel is widely acknowledged as one of the most influential designers of his generation and has been one of my main sources of inspiration ever since I fell in love with graphic design as a child. His work is as fresh and relevant today as the day it was created, he is a living design legend and we are extremely honoured that he designed our 5th birthday poster.”

Last year’s poster was design by Milton Glaser, with 200 limited edition prints being sent out.
