Immedia Group, which provides bespoke radio stations and in-store media for retailers, has appointed Ema Linaker to lead its communications programme.

Linaker has previously worked for Google as EMEA corporate communications manager and AVG as global head of social media and online engagement.

She will work alongside Immedia's CEO Bruno Brookes, the former Radio One presenter, to develop a communications plan including a website redesign, social media strategy and a media relations programme.

Brookes said: "Ema brings a wealth of experience in modern communications which will help drive our strategy to reach new opportunities and clients in an emerging sector."
