Ahead of the Cream Midlands and Yorkshire nominations being announced next Wednesday, The Drum asked this year's judges to give us an example of a piece of work they liked.

Bear in mind these are only the opinions of the individual judges and you'll have to wait a little while longer to see if the whole jury agreed with their thinking.

The judging panel was chaired by Pete Martin, creative director at The Gate, who said: "One of the things that struck me was that you don't have to have a big budget to have a big idea."

The full jury comprised David Booth, creative consultant at Booth; Ben Casey, creative director at The Chase; Aileen Geraghty, managing director of 999 London; Patrick Harvey from Love and Simon Shaw, creative director at Navyblue.

Nominations will be announced on the Cream Awards website at 3pm on Wednesday 31 August.
