The Big Issue anniversary photography exhibition to open in Birmingham
Photographs by Paul Wenham-Clarke will go on display in Birmingham from 8 September to mark The Big Issue’s 20th anniversary.
The exhibition is entitled ‘Hard Times’ and features portraits of Big Issue vendors in their ‘homes’.
The exhibition has already received a Gold Award from the Association of Photographers.
It describes itself as ‘Shedding light on the hidden lives of Britain’s homeless, the portraits offer an insight into their background, their family situation, the challenges they face while selling the magazine, their achievements and aspirations.’
