TBWA\Manchester's Briers named new MD of PHD North

Dani Briers has been named as the new managing director of PHD North, joining from TBWA\Manchester.

Briers replaces Jason Spencer who is to take up the role of regional sales director at ITV from October.

During his time at TBWA\Manchester, Briers was seconded as head of marketing for Jessops, and also headed up all non-food business for The Co-operative Group.

Daren Rubins, CEO of PHD UK said "This is a fantastic appointment for us and reinforces PHD North's positioning as the smartest media agency outside of London. It also further demonstrates our ability to attract and develop top talent from outside the media world and Dani will build on our fantastic successes in the North".
