Bristol Rugby and Sport Reach have officially revealed their new home and away kits for the 2011/12 season.

The Club will continue with traditional blue and white hoops as used in the 2010/11 season, a design favoured amongst Bristol supporters. Produced by Sports Reach for Nike, the home kit is classic Bristol blue and white hoops with white shorts and white socks. The alternative kit is a plum-coloured jersey with black shorts and black socks, featuring black logos and embroidery.

The home kit will be worn for the first time on the pitch when Bristol take on Biarritz in a pre-season friendly at Stade Aguilera on Friday August 12 (KO 7pm).

Capita Symonds continue their main sponsorship of the club for the 2011/12 season for the third successive season, with the company’s name branded across the middle of the strip.

Spire Bristol Hospital and Portrayal have maintained their sponsorship of the Club, appearing on the shoulders of the home and away shirt. Sitec remain on the sleeve while Thorne Security will be branded on the breast of the jersey. MJ Church, the winners of the 2011/12 Championship Club draw, feature on the back of the shirt alongside Blackthorn’s branding.

The shorts feature branding from Championship Club prize winners Solution MHE as well as St Peter’s Hospice across the back.

Bristol Rugby chief executive Steve Gorvett commented on the new strip saying: “The quality and design of the new strip reflects Bristol’s commitment to success and high standards on the pitch for the coming season. I’d like to thank all the shirt sponsors for their continued support of the Club. We look forward to seeing Bristol wear the new jersey in the RFU Championship next season.”
