The UK and Europe’s first social buying website aimed at the UK’s gay and lesbian community has launched in Bristol.

“Oooh Ducky!” aims to build a unique social buying experience where gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses can market themselves to the UK’s gay and lesbian community.

The website will begin its service with weekly offers in Bristol and aims to make offers more frequent over time.

Oooh Ducky! aims to introduce local offers to the other big cities with large gay populations in the UK by September, including London, Brighton, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Birmingham.

Christopher Jones, the founder of Oooh Ducky says that “the deals offered to its subscribers will be relevant to their lifestyle and also that they can relax in the fact that these businesses are promoting themselves as being gay friendly.”

Oooh Ducky! will be offering discounted deals aimed at the gay lifestyle on a wide range of products and services. These will include bars & clubs, hotels & B&Bs, restaurants, fashion, fitness, grooming, travel and other experiences from cooking, wine tasting, theatre and live music.
