Pickerings hires Golley Slater for PR lift

Pickerings Lifts has appointed Golley Slater North to raise its regional and national profile through PR.

The agency will promote Pickerings' 150 years' experience in the lift and escalator industry and seek to position the firm as a "key player in British manufacturing".

Pickerings' sales and marketing director, Kirk Lawson, said: “Having undergone an internal re-structure, we felt the time was right to include proactive communications to our market-focussed strategy.

After a competitive pitch process, we’re delighted we’ve been able to find a partner right on our doorstep - we’re looking forward to working closely with Golley Slater and raising awareness of Pickerings Lifts significantly.”

Claire Rushton (pictured), head of Golley Slater North, added: “Pickerings Lifts is a gem of a company that up until now has been hiding its light under a bushel.
