The Grand Prix prize at the inaugural Online Media Awards has been handed to thesundaytimes.co.uk
As well as the Grand Prix, thesundaytimes.co.uk also saw Gordon Thomson named Online Editor of the Year,while the site also won in other categories; Best Campaigning / Investigative Journalism, Best Video Journalism, Best Design, and Best Use of Photography.
The Guardian won the Technical Innovation Award, while Best Brand development went to Mail Online.
Best Site for News-led Journalism was named as bbc.co.uk.
