social enterprise media co-op wins preffered supplier status of films for NHS Scotland

NHS Scotland has established a supplier framework of films for DVD and the web including social enterprise organisation media co-op, Speakeasy and Metro Ecosse.

The agency will take up preferred supplier status for supplying information films for the health organisation in Scotland.

Media co-op is the only social enterprise to make it through the NHS Scotland tender process, which included 120 film companies to the three successful appointees.

media-co-op's Louise Scott said "Going head-to-head with commercial production companies from all over the UK, we're very proud that the NHS chose our ethical and values-based co-operative as one of their preferred suppliers."

A short film from media co-op entitled ‘Courage’ and will also be screened across 50 venues in Scotland this week, created for the Scottish Refugee Council.
