Hefner tweet concedes jilting
Hugh Hefner’s dream of marrying a blonde bombshell 60 years his junior are off after the Playboy founder took to Twitter to inform his followers that Crystal Harris had jilted him.
The 85 year old had enjoyed a six month romance with his playmate since Harris accepted his engagement ring on Christmas day, by yesterday afternoon it was all over however when Harris voiced doubts about the arrangement.
Posting on her own website Harris commented: “I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time.”
Harris’s decision coincided with the launch of her single on iTunes.
Hefner had been scheduled to marry Harris on Saturday but will now be watching a movie instead – Runaway Bride.
