KLM launches Giggle Jiggle cyber cards

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has today launched a series of interactive viral cards as part of a six week viral campaign which runs until 8 July.

The KLM Giggle Jiggle cyber card series was created and designed by 3 fish in a tree, with the playful take on greetings cards aimed at a wide ranging leisure travel audience and supported by an online and social media campaign including Facebook advertising and online seeding via Go Viral.

The Giggle Jiggle cards consist of 4 different animated dancing characters from around the world, on to which visitors can upload a snapshot of themselves and send to family and friends. Participants are then entered into a competition to win a pair of long-haul tickets on the KLM network.

KLM marketing manager Verane Brissaud said of the viral campaign: “We were impressed with the flair and creativity shown by 3fish in developing an alternative take on the viral greeting card concept. Our brief was to create something playful and engaging and these cards hit just the right note – they’re a giggle! We’re confident they’ll be a hit with audiences and will build on our increasingly strong online presence which last year saw us launch the hugely successful KLM Gay Getaway, followed by this year’s KLM Jukebox Journey.”
