Confused.com compares numbers for Royal Wedding with other weddings

Price comparison site Confused.com has summarised the cost of the Royal Wedding in comparison with other high profile weddings, and highlighted some of the prices and important numbers involved in the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The wedding, which according to the website will cost £20 million, includes 1,900 people on the invite list, 300 people to attend the reception and 2 billion people watching on TV.

Meanwhile, the site claims that the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana cost £12 million and was watched by 750 million people on TV, with 3,500 guests and 27 wedding cakes.

Also included in the comparison list are Chelsea Clinton’s wedding to Marc Mezvinsky, Princes Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling, and Prince Rainier III of Monaco and Grace Kelly.
